With the animated film for Düsseldorf Airport, we were once again able to contribute to the future history of German infrastructure. The future airport, a showcase example of sustainable mobility, is presented vividly and in detail and was created as part of the PR release for the project. It highlights the pioneering innovations of the airport and makes them tangible for a wide audience.
The focus of the conversion and expansion is on the sustainable transformation of air traffic and the associated megatrends:
✔️ Expansion of the airport into a multimodal hub
✔️ Construction of a fuel depot with rail siding for sustainable fuels
✔️ Provision of aviation fuel from green electricity, hydrogen and CO₂
✔️ Commissioning of Europe’s largest apron photovoltaic system
All of these changes are in line with the city of Düsseldorf’s plans to be climate-neutral by 2035 and to strengthen the region as a place to live and do business.
