Demonstrating how the longest one-pole bridge on earth can become reality

The Danjiang Bridge at the gates of Taipei will be the longest bridge in the world with only one pillar. In 2015 we developed this animation for the winner of the architecture competition Zaha Hadid Architects from London. The film was so successful because it combines the emotional impact with the functional explanation of the construction. Over the past 5 years there has been close cooperation between morean GmbH and the builder Sinotec. This culminated, among other things, in a contribution to the stationary project pavilion, which Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen inaugurated. For the exhibition, we developed an interactive, virtual journey across the entire bridge, which can be experienced with virtual reality glasses.
